Shame on you to support Arundhati

Few days back in Ananda bazaar patrika the famous Bengali news daily Mr. Goutam Guha (surname may be different) has written few words to support Mrs. Arundhati Roy. Mr. Guha depicted his opinion for the democracy of India and raised a doubt of her maturity of Democracy. In a democratic country everybody has the rights to raise his or her voice if necessary against the nation. In this case Mrs. Roy did the same by showing her sedition to support the separatists Syad Ali Sah Gilani. She speech in a seminar in New Delhi “Bhookhe nange Hindustan se Kashmir ko azad karo”.
Well to some extent I support Mr. Goutam, because if the right to freedom of speech has taken out from the people of India then there will be no difference between us and Chinese Govt. But the anger comes when these so called well educated (buddhi-jibi) people talks against Salman Rushdie, Taslima Nasrin etc. Here Mr. Rushid, Ms. Taslima also have shown their freedom of speech. But they looked like against Islam for Mr. Goutam. He cannot tolerate Mr. Rushdie or Ms. Taslima, why? Is he paid by any fanatic Muslims? Then why he can only say for Mrs. Roy but not for Taslima. Mr. Rushdie or Taslima may be against for a religion but here Mrs. Arundhati Roy is against a whole nation. Whichever is great for Mr. Goutam The Mother nation or only Religion?
Mr. Goutam  explained that Muslim community was hurt by Taslima and hence they imposed Fatwa on her, even they did not hesitate to kill her. On the same ground when those Kashmiri separatist wanted to hurt millions of Indian by dividing India again after colonial rule, then Mr. Goutam did not find any justification for them. I thing he knew that lakes of Kashmari Pandit were forcefully turned out from Kashmir. What happen Mr. Goutam you become partial toward Muslims and Kashmiries. Does it not seems to be pseudo secularist? Where the pride to be an Indian gone? Do you expect any booker like Mrs. Arundhati, or you want to oil Mr. Prannoy Roy of NDTV who is a cousin of Mrs. Roy. Are you offered any citizenship from Pakistan or those separatist told that they will give you the permit to stay permanently in azad Kashmir (still today even our President of India cannot buy any land in Kashmir), or ABP paid you for supporting the anti India movement.
Now you are surrounded by lots of questions, please answer them.
Arundhati Roy

RKM, Belgharia is working after Ailia relief jobs in those arears. This perticular area is on the Hindustan-Bangladesh border and few meters away from Sunderban core forest. The condition of those people are very poor, even they have to carry drinking water from other villages which are few k.m. away from them, other wise drink that water coming out from that tube well. The colour of the water is brownish like licqure tea. It was informed that Methene may be mixed up with that water.

Kedarnath and Badrinath Darshans

This is description how to reach Kedarnath- Badrinath Dham the holistic pilgrimage of Hindus.
My friends Alokesh da and Arup bhai (Chhata) went to have a darshan of Sri Sri Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham on the month of September. Kedarnath Dham is the one of the Jotirlinga among 12 Jotirlings of Load Shiva even it is one the place of Pancha Kedar also. These places are open form June to mid November. I am describing the ways of how to reach the Dhams. The timing is not suitable for journey, because it is rainy season and for that there is lot of landslides in the way of Badrinath and Kedarnath. My friends were stuck because of these landslides for few days in Badrinath. For the sake of ease I include myself into the conversation.

Everything was ok after arranging the credentials for the 15 days long tour. We arrange a BSNL SIM card because of communication. We came to know that there is communication problem in Badrinath and only BSNL mobile works. We got lots of wishes from our Vivvsc brothers and Maharaj also.
It was 12.09.10 we started our journey from Kolkata by Kumbha Express at 1.10 p.m.  It was around 27 hrs. journey and we reached at Haridwar at 4.10 p.m. Train fair Rs. 422.

We put up in a Darmashala near the station, the rent was Rs. 200. After getting fresh we went to Har-Ki-Pouri, the famous Ganga ghat for enjoying the Aarti.

14.10.10: The next day morning we get up early for the Kedarnath, distance around 250 k.m. We reached in GMOU bus stand near to the railway station. The bus is available upto Gourikund, fair Rs. 225. The inclined road started after Rishikesh. The snick beauty was wonderful. On the way we got Devprayag where Alaknanda and Bhagarati joining together. Because of landslide the bus stopped before 6 k.m., and we walked that distance and reached to Gourikund around 6.30.p.m. There is dharmashala of Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) where we put up for the night. The room rent is Rs. 150. As it was the off season so we got the room otherwise getting rooms in BSS is difficult. So my request will be before going those places please contact with them, they have their head office in Ballygunge, Kolkata, India. Please remember in the entire uttrakhand mostly vegetarian food is available. We took our meal there cost Rs. 40 each.

15.10.10: We got up earlier in the morning and had our bath in the hot spring (tapta kunda) in the Gourikund and get refreshed. The temperature was below what we have usually in Kolkata, hence filing cold. We brought sticks of Rs. 10 and raincote of Rs. 10 for the journey. Be sure the raincote is not good enough. We started our journey around 6.00 am. in the morning. There is cowed all the time going toward the Kedarnath, so never felt alone on the road.  The Kedarnath is 14 k.m. away uphill from Gourikund. Rambara is 7 k.m. away from Gourikund where devotee used to take rest. On the way we meet lots of devotees coming from various parts of Hindustan and abroad also. We reached at Kedarnath around 2.00 p.m. and put up in BSS. The other expenses was Rs. 300.

16.10.10: Next day after puja to the Load Kedarnath we went to Gandhi Lake (sarovar) which is 3.5 k.m. away and from there climb down to Gourikund and stay again in the BSS. We kept our luggage in Gourikund BSS ashram for Kedarnath and again while came back to Gourikund we occupied the room again. While coming one of us not totally well, hence he had to take the help of horse, from Rambara it took Rs. 75.

17.10.10: From Kedarnath we took the bus for Badrinath, the distance from Kedarnath to Badrinath is around 270 k.m., Bus fair Rs. 225. River Alakananda flows by the Badrinath. But due to bad weather we were able to reach only upto Josimath, 121 k.m. That night we stay in a hotel in Josimath, rent Rs. 150.
18.10.10: The next day morning we started our journey at 6.00 a.m. The bus is available from the early morning. But near Lambgara we stopped again due to landslide. Here the total journeys of all pilgrims were stopped due to the road blockage. There was only one possibility either set with all the passengers or walk and move ahead; we chose the latter one. We started to walk on the slippery mountain hills along with our luggage accompanied by in cold mountain rain. After going up around one k.m. we reached an unknown village. We managed a house to give us one night shelter against Rs. 200. We had no option but this to passed that night in that rainy and cold weather inside that lickage room.

19.10.10: Next day we started for Badrinath. Badrinath is the place of Load Vishnu. We used to take the roots between the hills so we travelled only 20 k.m. to reach Badrinath, otherwise it would be much more via road. We were the only two person who had reached Badrinath on that particular day, whereas all the transportation were closed due to rain, bad weather and landslide also., so nobody could not either entered or left Badrinath on that day. We put up in to BSS, room rent Rs. 200.

20.10.10: The next day after giving puja to Badridham we went to Mana village which is the last village of Hindusthan, Beyond that is China! There are Ganesh Cave, Vayas Cave also all are near by.

21.10.10: Vasudhara Falls is around 8 k.m. We went as saw all those.

22.10.10: Next day we get up early in the morning and took a holy dip in to the hot spring water in Tapta Kunda. We were in Badrinath for 3 days because of bad condition of roads. So we decided to left Badrinath as early as possible.

23.10.10: Vishnu pada Charan is 3 k.m up the hill from Badrinath. We saw and came back.
24.10.10: The next day we got a bus which was going to Gangotri, so requested them to leave us upto Devprayag.

25.10.10: From Devprayag we came to Rishikesh by truck due to non availability of buses, the distance is 70 k.m, we paid Rs. 120. We put up in a Dharmashala, room rent Rs. 150. That day night we saw Ramjulla, Laxmanjulla ect.

26.10.10: From Rishikesh we visited Chandeshwar Temple, Swamiji’s Cave in the Chandeshwar Temple where Swami Vivekananda did meditation we also saw Nilkantha temple, which is around 10 k.m. by walk. Leopard, bear used to be in the forest on the way to  Nilkanth Temple. By road the distance of Nilkantha Temple is around 25 k.m. but the side scenes were nice.

27.10.10: Next day we came to Haridwar and saw few more temples, Har-Ki-Pouri and Kankhal Ashram, Daksha Yagya Temple. After all we came to the end of our journey. We catch the train Kumbha Express for Kolkata at 00.00 a.m. night.

First Hand, then Job: Taliban rule in Kerala

After chopping off his hand by 22 Muslim Extremists of Popular Front of India, now professor T. J. Joseph lose his job too. After servicing the Newman College in Kozhikoda, Kerala for last 25 years, the college authority expelled this professor for is misinterpretation of Prophet Mohammed by saying mad-man in a college internal question paper. Although professor Joseph said that he was totally misunderstood and obviously he did not intended prophet Mohammed or try to hurt any religious sentiment. Well, Mr. Faraque Sheque the famous actor of ‘Umrao-Jan’ said in a private TV Channel; that if he offered apology to the community then this would not be serious issue. Although he condemn this unlawful act by Popular Front of India which is totally against Koran. The surprising thing was that there was no agitation among the students when the exam paper was given. This incident took place after few days when Mr. Joseph was returning from the Church.

The C.M. of Kerala already expressed his opinion that, within 20 years those Islamic Extremists parties will convert Kerala in to a Muslim state under Indian Secular constitution. This incident is a great threat and agony for us , we so called secular Indians. If we still not pay our attention, a day will come when Kerala will be like 2nd Kashmir and become the pain for us.
If the ruling CPI(M) and opposition TMC did not stop their Muslim flattery for vote bank polities, then days are not far away when Bengal Beauty will be covered under burkas and Circumcision will be performed instead of ‘Anna Prasan’. (A Hindu-Bengali rituals for 6 months old baby)

There is a phrase that says "there is no enemy for duff". Should we become duff?

Step in NEW ZIG:

Day before yesterday was very much troublesome ‘That’s the counseling day’. We were told that our counseling would be around 3-4 p.m. but when I choose RCC it was already over 9 p.m. But the next story could be a history ‘making of 4th Idiots’. All time I was inside the pressure cooker, whether I will get RCC or not, because it was my 1st choice. I had general rank 263 and trade rank 53 which is quite good, because I am appearing this Lateral entry exam after 8 years after passing diploma in ETC in the year 2002. I knew very well I am not going to get chance in Shivpur, Jadavpur or in Kalyani, so there was no option of Govt. Engineering college near Kolkata. I could get Kalyani Govt. Engg. college, but again I have to stay in the hostel, and I am sure while be in a hostel I will take ‘Ganja, N10, Fencidil etc’. Because these are a part of engineering college hostel life, and when I was in AEC’s hostel I did the same thing although being a faculty.
In the counseling hall everyone was scared because if they could not get the desired college. But for me it was the 1st choice. The RCC INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, RCC (http://www.rcciit.in/) is govt. sponsored engineering college, hence the fees are much lower than other privet colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno ect, the fee is almost half. The overall expenses would be around below ` 1.5 L. This college was previously the Regional Computer Centre (RCC) of Jadvpur University and the old campus of Lather Technology Engineering College. It has accrued name in CS and IT, but I do not know about the ECE and EE branch, because the 1st batch of ECE from the college just passed out this year, let’s see what happed. But now it is sure that that I am going to achieve my first dream of ’10 wishes before you die’. Thank you GOD, Tussie great ho.
Yester day I got admitted in this college by deposited ` 39,500 (20,500 per semester included). Let’s have a look of the others college fees structure.
IEM= Rs. 56, 500 at the time of admission and Rs. 45,000 per semester, total Rs.2,81,500 for Lateral Entry.
Heritage= Rs. 67,200+Rs.45,000, Rs.2,92,000
St. Thomas=Rs.62,525, Rs. 32,535 (laptop), Rs.2,25,000
Techno Group=Rs.46,000+ Rs.28,760, Rs. 1,89,800
B.P. Podder= Rs.68,000 + Rs. 32,000, Rs. 2,30,000
Pailan=Rs.56,000+ Rs. 41,000, Rs. 2,61,000

Do not require any Mosque in a disputed land

27.06.10:Today there is a meeting held organized by “Gobra Santiraksha Unnyon Committee” in gobra regarding building of a new mosque in a disputed land here. The place which was an empty play ground for local people mostly children and others for last 60 years. But suddenly due some order from high court the empty land (13 C Asgar Mistri Lane, Kol-46) was handed over to ‘Wakf Board’ and obviously the muslims of ward no. 59 and others were desperate to built a mosque in that disputed land which is inside the hindu area and just opposite to a primary school.
2 weeks back few men came with building materials and suddenly covered that ground and made the foundation for the mosque. Local people stopped them and hence police was compelled to be post there for 24 hours. After this situation Local people made a committee and request the Wakf Board not to build any mosque in that area, if so then the balance of this hindu populated area will be broken.
Few days later few muslims outsiders came with municipality water tank lorry for giving water on that disputed land as preconstruction job. This time also local people protest and bit them. The climate was supposed to be out of the control, hence police called RAF. Within the protection of police and RAF the Wakf committee made a 12 feet wall, where as the permission was to built a 6 feet wall.
People of this area put this issue to the local CPIM councilor who had won the recent Municipal election form 59 ward. But he did not show his interest to resolve the issue because of minority vote bank. Hence local people formed “Gobra Santiraksha Unnyon Committee” with the help of BJP. They made few road meetings and peace really for informing others within and outside the area and also protest for evacuate the land in the sake of balanced and peaceful environment in the locality and to avoid the clashes in between two communities.
Today in the occasion of the death ceremony of Dr. Shyamaprasad Mookerjee the committee organized a meeting and a large number of local people presented to show their willingness to be with the committee hence against the new build masque.
There were few questions and point raised in this meeting which local so called secular comrades should be informed.
Mr. Santu Ray told that as they know that the land is dispute land but it was empty here for last 60 years, but they never tried to make any pujas or any kind of hindu rituals or others thing on that land, but if they wanted they could. This is because to homage to muslims community.
The BJP leader Mr. Tathagata Roy informed that he has spoken with the police commissioner of Kolkata and he gave the positive sign. Mr. Roy gave the speech in the full voice and pulled many issue like the train scansion for “Furfura Sarif” where Ms. Mamata Banerjee played her minority card and did ‘Namaz’ with other rituals on the same occasion. Did she wears ‘Safron’ when she announced trains for Kumbha? He also told about the genocide when 70 ‘Kar Sevak’ in Godhara were made burnt in a closed train, but media only talks about the BJP ruled govt. in Gujarat. The Congress, CPIM only spread that Mr. Narendra Modi is a killer for Gujarat riot, but hide the truth. Others parties tell that Gujarat govt. told police to be in action on 1st after 28 of previous month. They spread that for 3 days there was police in action, still every muslims were killed. But the truth is; as 28th was the last day of February and the next day was 1st March, so there was no gap between the incidents happened when police was in action. And if someone can compare with West Bengal and Gujarat then easily we can get the truth, where Gujarat is and where we are lagging. He puts the current NANO project example. The others points were travelling fee for madrassa students are made free by Mamata. There are around 1 core unemployment in West Bengal. The movement of Dr. Shyamaprasad Mookerjee for current West Bengal. Indian Muslims are living peacefully here with reference to any others Islamic country, he told about the current situation of Pakistan and Bangladesh etc. Kaji Najrul Islam wrote around 700 shyma sangeet, he was helped by Dr. Shyamaprasad Mookerjee. Earlier Ms. Mamata was supported by BJP and made herself ‘Mamata’, but now she forgets every things. Why mosque in this area where there is no muslims stay nearby this area. Etc.
Then BJP leader Md. Badsha Alam also told few truth which we do not know previously and why not BJP is a communal but secular party, where others so called secular parties are communal and anti Hindu. There were others people who gave speech were Debashis Ghosh, Sukumar Kr. Das, Soumitra Das, Hari Narayan Tiwary, Ashwani Sinha, Sudhanshu Roy etc.

A short trip to Nabadwip:

I had keep in mind to visit Mayapur after my exam over. So I got a chance after it. I went in Nabadwip on 19.06.10. Here is some description of that small trip.
Nabadwip is 120 K.m. away from Kolkata and can be reachable either form Sealdha or form Howrah. From Sealdah there are Krishnanagar local, or lalgola passenger of Bhagirathi express are daily available. By local it takes 2.30 hrs and in Bhagirathi it takes around 2 hrs. only. There are locals available every one hour from Sealdah. I took Bhagirathi Express at 6.25 from Sealdha and reached Krishnanagar City around 8.30 p.m. Seat availability in that train is very difficult, because of daily passengers.
From Krishnanagar there are buses available for Nabadwip ghat. Fair is around Rs. 10. Autos are also available, but after 8.30 p.m. it is difficult to get those. Other way to reach Sadar by van rishka or rishka, they take around Rs. 30 or Rs. 6 in share. From sadar there are buses available for Nabadwip ghat. Nabadwip ghat is around 11 k.m. away from Krishnanagar Station.
The another way to reach Nabadwip is from Howrah. Here Katwa Local is available or there are few passengers/ express trains available for Nabadwip also. From Station there are Rishka/ Auto available to reach the destination.
Nabadwip is the birth place of Load Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486-1533). It is situated in the bank of Ganga (bhagarati), where river Jalangi ( locally Khoyra) meets with Ganga. One side of the Ganga is Swarupnagar (can be reach by bus from Krishnanagar city) and another side is Nabadwip ghat. Boats are available for crossing the Ganga , fair Rs. 1.One banks of Khoyra is Nabadwip ghat and another is ISKCON. Nabadwip was the capital of Ballal Sen and later Lakshman Sen, the famous rulers of the Sena Empire, who ruled from 1159 to 1206.[2] In 1202, Nabadwip was captured by Bakhtiyar Khilji. This victory paved the way for Muslim rule in Bengal
Hotels are available in Krishnanagar, Nabadwip or better in Mayapur.
There are plenty of Mandirs to visit in Nabadwip, specially Sonar (golden) Gouranga. One of the disciple of Mahaprabhu built this idol of Mahaprabhu made by gold. Here devotee can also see the shoes worn by Mahaprabhu. Beside the shrine of Sonar Gouranga there is one place in between Samaj Bari, where there is still a Kool tree planted by Shri Chaitanya. The Sri Sri Samaj Bari is famous tample and ashram for’ Baishnab’ on the same lane. There are other things in Nabadwip which are birth place of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhy, Narashingha tample, Lake etc. It will be good if someone take the holy dip in to the Ganga, because the other side of the Ganga here said Khoyra not the Ganga.
The another part of Nabadwip is Mayapur. Mayapur is an Island grown in between river Khoyra and the Ganga. It can be reached by crossing the rivers. After reaching Mayapur there are riskaws or van riskaws are available to go ISKCON temple, charges Rs. 10-20.. ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) was founded by His holy Sri Bhakti Vedanta Prabhupada. This is a bhaktibada Baishnab organization, H.O located in Mayapur. There is devotee all over the world to visit Mayapur. There are two main shrine one is devited for Sri Bhakti Vedanta Prabhupada and another is main temple where Load Krishna with Radha and others are worshiped. The area is very large and can be viewed only by the permission of the authority. One new big tample of Radha-Krishna is in under process. The evening Arati in the temple is very charming. People from variety of origin are dancing in a same name in the form of Kritan i.e. “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare; Hare rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare”.
After attaining Arati it will be better to move for Kolkata. The last connecting train from Krishnanagar to Kolkata is available at 8.40 p.m.

One Day in RSS Camp

To see the photos of the camp please click here

Last 30th May was the last day of the 1st year camp organized by the South Bengal branch of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). This was the 1st time when I visited any RSS camp. The 1st year camp is for 20 days, and this time it was in a school near “Uluberia”, Howrah, 20 mins from the railway station. RSS organize others camps for 3 days and for 7 days also in the different location. There are 2nd year camp and 3rd also which usually held in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

This was the occasion of the conclusion ceremony, so seniors swamsevaks also came to attain the ceremony. This time there was around 185 students came from different parts of south Bengal. The participants were mostly students, apart from that there were swamsevak who came to attain and participate for doing services like teaching and others activities. The camp was more or less same like others such as Scout, NCC etc. But the main difference is here people come to know about the culture, and heritage of his own soil. It is told that the Hinduism is not a religion; it is a way of life. Here people were introduced to his culture, heritage in an organized manner, where, there will be blossom of love, respect for his Mother Nation and also the determination to save her from the evil situation or now Pakistani intruders or MNCs. In history we read that the Bharat was always attack by the intruders like Mongols, Hun, Pathan, Mughols and lastly by British. But we seldom taught about the golden era of Indian history when Alekzender return back after saw the regiment of Chandragupta. Pathan, Mughols always took the ornaments and precious items from our tramples and destroy them. Like Mamood, who targeted Somnath Temple for 17th time and every time he looted the wealth in the temple. There are lots of story which tells about the richness of India during that time. Do we find any Pathan or Mughols now? Because they mixed up with this culture which is called Hindustan.
But if now some one takes shelter in our country Hindustan and destroy our heritage day by day in the name of religion by the support of political backing; then should we stop or we should revolt.?

The routine of the camp is very strict and organized. The students have to get up early in the morning at 4 o’clock. Then there will be physical exercise, breakfast, study, then lunch, rest, again some classes, dinner and left for sleep at around 10 p.m. The participants were all in same dress code. White shirt, Khaki half pant, black cap, shows, brown leather belt and every one holds one long stick. They were given training for protect others and them self from enemies. Swamsevak gave a demo of stick freighting on the closing ceremony. Apart from the students , others who were guest and senior swamsevak also were in the same dress code.

Although as a guest I had to pay a little amount of contribution (sulka) for attaining the camp, even every one who were guest or senior swamsevak had to pay their own. The students also paid some amount to receive the training in the camp. The concept is totally different from the NCC and others camp. The reason was told that as we are in the service to the nation so it cannot be free, atleat the student have the respect toward the camp and hence it will be fruitful. The organizer do not take any donations from others, if that then the camp might be more sophisticated like any religious sabha of Ramdev baba, Sri Sri Ravi Sankar, Asharam Bapu, but it will loose the flavor of austerity for the better nation.

The meal in the camp was simple and every one seat together on the floor for having meal. There was no discrimination of senior or junior but respect. After having food students wash their utensils. Here for 20 days every participant has to do their own job.
The closing ceremony held in the ground. It was started by Saffron Flag hosting, after that we all show our tribute to our mother nation by saluting the Saffron Flag. Then there was parade, stick fighting etc. There was raining that day, but the participant and swamsevak did not left the field and continued with their activities. At the end one nice motivational lecture by one professor. This is how the program come to an end.

I was there for the full day with those sawamsevak but I did not listen any where in the schedule program they provoke Hindus to be anti Muslims, which people and media spread against RSS. But they teach us about our heritage and culture to become more united Hindustani and spread peace, love and brotherhood.

On 29.04.10 I had to come from Bakrashwar Thermal Power Plant to Kolkata. But i missed the last bus which is around 3.50 p.m. So the last chance to come back in Kolkata was go to Durgapur. When I reached Durgapur it was around 7.00 pm.m and the last bus was waiting. It was full of crowd. I had no energy to get up on that bus. So i decided to go to my old living place Asansol. I reached at Asansol around 8.00. I stay there in Majhi's home, and then come back next day in Kolkata in Bidhan, which depart Asansol from 5.30 a.m. and reach to Kolkta at 8.45. a.m. It is very nice Train in the morning from Asansol-Kolkta. Next trains are Coal Field express and Inter City.

Why only Nudity?

Recently read an article on Maqbool Fida Husain (M. F. Husain) , where it was written ‘a famous Qatari artiest of Indian origin’.
Mr. Husain became famous in India by making few nude painting of Indian god and goddess, and now feels proud to become Qatari citizen, all though he earns all his fame in India. He has no right to hurt Hindus sentiments by making such kind of painting which Hindus usually do worship. Why he did not make any vulgar painting of some other caste or his mother or daughter? (For his detail work plz visit http://bit.ly/drTQYl)

He is not belonging from any Hindu caste, nor did he do any kind of worship to God Ganasha, Goddess Durga, Parvati or any respect to Bharat Mata. Then he has no right to molested or show his opinion for Hindu God and Goddess towards public. It is said that an artist has right to show his opinion or his views through his art forms. Mr. Husain; who never performed any kind of Hindu rituals, how did he expressed his view such a way of vulgarity. Then there will be a time come when the artist of pornography movie will come in road and ask for publicize their work, because as an arties they also have rights. Did he see any naked figure of God or Goddess?

In the same time our so called scullery parties did not stand with Taslima Nasrin because she writes which is seems to be against Muslims. But it is not possible all are wrong, there is truth. There are an enormous number of Hindu families in the Bangladesh, who are regularly molested by Muslims fundamentalists. Instead of giving support to Hindus in Bangladesh we stand against Taslima Nasrin as she seemed to be anti Muslim. And in India stand with Mr. Husain on the basis of right to freedom of speech or expression. When Taslima comes in India, fundamentals Muslims through items, knife on her, ‘fatwa’ released on her name. So, if ‘Shiv Sena’ does the same thing with Mr. Husain, then he is being well judged.

If somebody goes to Konarak temple in Orissa, there it can be seen that there are stages of sculpture in the top of the temple. The 1st stage is the sculpture of animals and humans in sexual posture, when it goes up there are changes, and characters of those turns in to good form from evil. It is told that our mind is in the bottom of stage thinks about the sex and others which is a manifestation of ‘Tammo Guna’, then it reaches to high position to ‘Raja Guna’ and then at the top it achieves ‘Sattya Guna’.

Mr. Husain is still in ‘Tammo Guna’ or the lower stage of mind; hence he can do only the nude painting of Hindu god and goddess. Whereas there are many people from different counties, different caste come to India to immerse into the Indian Culture, her Shiva, Durga, Swarasati, Ganasha,…………….

ICICI make me fool

My policy No. was 010975606 of ICICI Prudential, Health Solution.
Mr. Mihir Sanghavi (9820778743) of Mumbai, Gatkopar branch made my policy, his boss was Ajay Negi.
At the time of discussion he told me that the premium of the Policy is Rs. 10000. out of which around Rs. 4000 will be deduct as coverage for 3 L Heath Insurance and rest will be made fixed at 9.5% interest. At the time of policy Mihir did not disclose that it is going to be some different. I believed on him, and purchased the Policy. Then the policy paper was sent to my home town in Kolkata. At the time of policy I am told as the max amount is going to invest in FD so i can get back the rest amount even after one year tenure. If He told that I have to continue it for 3 years like any ULIP plan, then I thought some thing different.

Now when the policy covered one year, i went to ICICI Branch, and I am told that it is under ULIP plan so if I need my money back, then I have to continue it at least for 3 years. Which is not my expected result.
So, requesting you please do not buy any ICICI Prudential policies before thoroughly check.

The Japanese Wife

Director: Aparna Sen
Actors: Rahul Bose, Chigusa Takaku, Raima Sen

Yesterday saw the movie "The Japanese Wife" in Prachi, Sealdaha.
The story is fine but very slow.
Snehamoy castes by Rahul Bose is a Arithmetic school teacher in Sundarban, and Miyage castes by Takaku runs a shop in a Japan. They were pen friend. Both of them do not know good English, so found letters to express their voice with the help of dictionaries. Like this way they got married. By means of their custom Miyage send a silver wedding ring to Snehamoy, and Snehamoy send one pair of "Sankha" made by conch shell and "Sindur" red powder to put in the top of forehead by Bengali wife to the new bride. Miyage used to send gifts, photos and on the occasion of their 15 years of marriage she send a box full of beautiful Kites to Snehamoy. There is a character of Sandhya acted by Raima Sen. She became widow in very early stage. She came back with her only son to stay with Snehamoy aunt.

Like this way the story progress, at the end Miyage's mother passed away and she became alone, in the mean time she got attacked by cancer and go back to Yokogama her brothers home. After knowing the pathetic news of his wife Snehamoy takes 6 months leave from the school and started to visit Homeopathy, Unani, Allopathy to discuss about his wife's health, and consequently send Indian medicines suggested by doctor's to Japan.
One day while coming back from Kolkata after vising a cancer specialist he got ill, after that his health did not turned around and Snehamoy lost his life.
After listening this Miyage come to India, Sundarban from the long way to Japan to see her Husband's house and memories.
In the last moment she was in a complete Bengali widow attire; white Sari, shaved head and sankha in her hand.......

Alas! In India I am not a Muslim.

Recently I have read an article in “Ujjiban” a local RSS print media about the expenditure behind ‘Haz pilgrims’ by Indian Govt. In the year 2009 there were around 1.67 Lakes Muslims went on ‘Haz’ their most sacred pilgrimage. Indian Govt. (UPA) spends Rs. 16,000 each on airline expenses i.e. around Rs. 267 Core as subsidy and with others facilities. This is to show the sympathy towards the Muslims community and collect their votes.
( A recent article in India Today, April 26, 2010 published " The Haj subsidy to Air India, touching Rs. 941 corore for 2009-10, has always stood for a darker shade of minority polities.)
But in the same time when we go to “Gangasagar” a Hindu pilgrimage in West Bengal we have to pay extra taxes i.e. as Tirtha Kor or Jijiya tax. In that time the traveling cost get enhanced. Giving an example for crossing the river which is usually near about Rs. 7, the Pilgrims have to pay Rs. 40 and Rs. 5 extra as Religious tax. Why not we are subsidize like Muslims and get free from religious taxes. Yes; agreed there are expenditure to set up Gangasagar mela and all, but Govt. also earns money out of it.
This year I went in the Gangasagar and was the eye witness of this religious bifurcation. It seemed to me that we are in the age of Aurungzeb, when he kept earning his revenue from Hindues by putting Ziziya tax.
When we called India is Secular country than why there are facilities or subsidy for a particular community. The nasty vote bank polities are everywhere.
How to raise our voice and stop to misuse Hindu’s sentiment?

SADA BARI........

Brothers the Sada Bari or White House is situated few k.m. away from Kolkata and this is nick name of the administrative building of Ramakrishna Mission Students Home, Belgharia, Kolkata.Viewers, sorry I am not here to make a documentation about the RKM Student Home, but share my past experiences, which are covering for all the time no matter where I am. (Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapiha is polytechnic college under WBSCTE, which is sister institute of Ramakrishna Mission Students Home. Here I have completed my Diploma in Electronics.)

It was an usual day in college and some boys came in the class room to inform us about the VSC classes, which is held on every Monday on Tiffin hours, some sadhu will take the class. The group came that day, I knew few of them, because earlier we had an introduction session which I mean to say soft ragging. This is for information, 2 boys out of the group has become sadhu in Ramakrishna Order.

When I chose the college in counseling, I thought RKMSTH will be a college run by sadhues like others institute say, RKM, Narandapur, RKM Rahara etc. You find there are nos. of boys who has keen aspiration to study in such kind of institute, surely to get good environment for study and others nourishment which can make them perfect human being. Fortunately I was not from amongst socially established family who get good knowledge to run their kith & kin in a right direction. Because if so, then I am not able to get in touch with missionary activities in a different, so humble and down to earth ways.

Sorry, I am shifting from my goal……., fortunately the teachers, principal were not sadhu, so that would be my first chance in VSC class to interact with a sadhu to get knowledge about them. Before join the class I was hammered to listen some unsocial activities of mission and asked to get away form them. But during my last 9 years of experience I never come across such kind of things, I don’t know why people guess and through any comments upon them, it is true with all the religion communities.
10.04.08, During college days this was a habit to be a WT (with out ticket) and travel in Local Trains. This habit was grown from my college, because by the virtue of the student of City College or any college in Shealdha area like Bongabanshi College, Surendranath College, Scent’s Pauls College, we the students feel happy to travel in Local Trains as WT. The concept was like that the govt. took consolidate amount of money from our fees, so we should feel proud to travel in local trains in Shealdha division (I don’t know the situation in Howrah Division). So let the Local Trains as your own properties (baap ka mall) still you are a student in Calcutta University, and if found any problem then just tell to the T.T, who u are (rail montroker dara chhattra der kach thake onnai bhabe ticket amdani manchhi na…….. manbo na…….., Chatra Porishod porichalito amader dabi mante hobe, mante hobe………….) I don’t think I brought tickets more than 5 to 10 times during my 3 years studentship in City College. All though I had to walk a lot to save my pocket money also, from shealdha to city college it is nearly 2 k.m. distance.

Disappointment: In Mumbai I seldom get such kind of thing which can “chakka jam” the city.

Our college was just adjacent to Student’s Home, and one day afternoon I went inside, along with one of my friend. That was my first entry in side the mission through Sada Bari (original name Vivekananda Dham), You will feel great to see the views when ever you enter in the student’s home, there was a big pond and there is the Temple just on the opposite side where now are standing. If you turn your face 180 D left and Right you see there are 3 dham’s each on your left and right, and back the white house.

12th January, the National Youth Day, we gather in centenary hall to celebrate swamiji’s birthday. There were several programs few of them was Tabla Jugalbandhi by Abhishek-Monzul, recitation by Sourabh Das, some elocution by Santanu. That time the secretary of vivvsc was Atanu da. Debu ( khuni, name given by Subrato oroffe Commred), Saikat da, Gibinda Da (bhandari), Alokesh, Sonjay Da was active members of the group. The typical event in the program was questionnering session by Subroto Maharaj ( he was the secretary of RKM Student’s home and presently transferred to Varanashi RKM Math). The people were given a piece of paper and asked to write their questions in religion or spiritual ground. The moment was wonderful and every body were stunned by listening the speech/conversation by the majharaj. But beg a part, I think there are few common questions in every body’s mind which reflects in the pattern of questions they asked that day, and they asked those few questions in the next year also.

RKMSTH, In my 1st year I had good class metes, among them Sanjoy(bias), Anup, Sumon (boudi), Sourabh (tumpa), Prodipto, Anupam, Rathin (ragg), Dibendu those name I recollect. I have still contacts with Sanjoy and Anup. Sanjoy used to be a good chap and having healthy relationship with all others and with teachers also, he used to be group leader like person, always helpful and full of humor. On the other hand Anup was person of free mind, he always wants to be his carrier in networking, and now he works in Capgamini. Last year he came to Mumbai and I met with him, we went to lokhanwalla for shopping. He present me a shirt, which is still hangs up on the hanger in my room in front of my eyes. A good memento. And Sumon was very studious amongst us and scored top in lateral B.E, now works in IBM. He always busy in study, but good chap. We used to gather in his mess during our exam, he is the only way to help out us given us exam notes and suggestion. Some time I get oppose form those for making close attachment with mission, but always maintain a good relation with both the side, so I did not misbehave, although listing some hearting words, but carry forward them. Last January when I went in Calcutta, me and Sanjoy set together for 2 hours in a coffee pub in esplanade opposite to music world, Anup had to be there but unfortunately absent. Apart from Sanjay and Anpu, I do not have contacts with others.

There were others friends also like Sudipta (DEE, now he is in Mumbai and recently married, seldom we have talk), Dhruba (DEE, now works in GE, Hydarabad), Kushal (DEE), Sisir (DCE, he was in Guwahati, and now probably shifted to Calcutta).
